Nosework Seminars & Workshops

Bring V Force Dog Training to your club, training facility, or group for a customized Nosework seminar or workshop.

Seminars are designed around real-world Nosework challenges and can be customized for a variety of experience levels, from teams building stronger foundations to experienced competitors working through advanced search problems.

Seminar & Workshop Topics May Include:

• Odor Obedience – building commitment to odor and stronger, more reliable sourcing
• Working Through Distractions – helping dogs recognize and work through environmental and intentional distractions
• Pooling & Collecting Odor – understanding how odor moves, collects, and creates challenging sourcing problems
• Advanced Search Problems – working through difficult hide placement, inaccessible odor, converging odor, and complex search scenarios
• Search Strategy – developing effective approaches to larger, more complicated, or unfamiliar search areas
• Handling & Reading Your Dog – improving handler observation, decision-making, and understanding changes in behavior around odor
• Independence & Problem Solving – developing dogs that can confidently work odor problems without unnecessary handler interference
• Competition Skills – addressing the challenges teams encounter as they progress into higher levels of Nosework competition
• Increasing Hunt Drive – building enthusiasm, motivation, and persistence in the search
• Building Stronger Foundations – developing confident searching, clear communication, and the skills that support future progress

Workshops can be built around one specific topic or combine several areas based on your group’s goals. Content, search setups, difficulty, and format can be adjusted to the experience level of the participating teams and the available training space.

Teams do not need to be started on odor to participate. Seminars can include an introduction to odor for dogs just beginning, novice teams who are new to the sport, or more experienced teams refining their skills. We will discuss the group’s starting points and goals so the content fits the dogs and handlers attending.
